About The Series

The Witchtree Saga is a slightly dark, Paranormal Academy Fantasy-Romance series by Kimber Dream. It’s a work in progress at this point but please follow along as I bring this world to life and share bits and pieces of it as we go along.

The story takes place at Witchtree Academy, a college for Mags (magical people), located on the island of Mytheholde (Myth-hold). It’s populated with witches, shifters, and bloodmages (a witch-vampire mash-up race).

Seventeen-year-old Elyssa Gibbs can’t wait to graduate so she can finally have the normal life she’s always dreamed of. When her paranoid dad wakes her up to once again run in the middle of the night, she isn’t expecting a magical attack. How could she? Magic isn’t real. Others show up and fight off the attackers, also using magic, and one of them claims to be her grandmother.

She moves to Mytheholde to attend Witchtree Academy because apparently she’s a witch. And not just any witch, a legacy witch from a long line of powerful witches.

Book 1: Seeds of Destiny – Elyssa is learning to use her magic and fit into the magical community. There are old ladies warning her to keep her birthmark hidden, missing witches, secrets galore, and a destiny she wants nothing to do with. There are also friends, parties, and even a guy she shares a strange connection with. When push comes to shove, will she follow her instincts and make her own choices, or will she cave to pressure from the Arcane Council?

Book 2: Branches of Betrayal – Betrayed at every turn, Elyssa no longer knows who she can trust or what choices to make. Her instincts are failing her and she’s being pulled in different directions, both with her destiny and her romance. She’s not behaving like herself and begins to suspect a spell may be at work.

Book 3: Forbidden Fruit – Elyssa has broken the spell she was under but she can’t let anyone know. She’s searching for a lost book of forbidden spells that she hopes will offer an alternative solution to her destiny while also trying to navigate a secret romance. If anyone found out, it would put her life and the lives of those she loves in danger.

Book 4: Leaves of Change – Everything has flipped and nothing in Elyssa’s life is the same. Friends and family members are now on opposite sides from her. The boy who said he’d love her forever, no longer remembers her. And in order to save someone she loves, she may have to set free someone who could destroy the entire magical community.

Book 5: Root of All Evil – Evil is free and it’s time for her to fulfill her destiny. It will take everyone to stop him. Can she convince long time enemies to work together? Or will their distrust in each other allow the destruction of everyone she loves?
